Bill and Dave Talk Real Estate Marketing

My friend and marketing mentor Dave Newton now lives in Yakima, from which he renders judgment upon the planet. I asked Dave to give me some thoughts on real estate, from a non-real estate guy’s point of view. By the way, you can follow Dave at www.3rdActs.com.

Memo to Bill: Why not build eco-friendly, affordable homes without the "Save The World" hype? Look at green building as a way to hedge against energy cost increases, while saving money on your monthly bills. Seems to me a common-sense way to peddle a good idea. Lose the ideology. Pitch practical benefits.

La’Cee on Demographics

Are we all using the right words and language to talk to our two most vibrant market segments, ‘Gen Y’s’ and the ‘Greatest Generation’ groups? The excellent John Burns group shows us once again that Baby Boomers, ages 45 – 64 have flattened out as a buying group, and that the younger and the older are where today’s real action is.
