Bill and Dave Talk Real Estate Marketing

My friend and marketing mentor Dave Newton now lives in Yakima, from which he renders judgment upon the planet. I asked Dave to give me some thoughts on real estate, from a non-real estate guy’s point of view. By the way, you can follow Dave at www.3rdActs.com.

Memo to Bill: If Steve Jobs, or his successor, were in the real estate business, the first thing he would do is invent the one-click mortgage. Doubt it? Think about it: iTunes made music hipper to buy than steal. In order to sell iPods, he had to reinvent the music business. If you can reinvent the offer-escrow-signing process and create the no-hassle money deal, you’re more than halfway there. Your industry should adopt a new mantra: WWSJD (What Would Steve Jobs Do)?

Tricked out, outdoor spaces are a wonderful way of selling the sizzle when it comes to buying new. The Bassenian Lagoni plan below is a good example of utilizing the outdoor space to sell the entire home.
