So how are we doing on prices and values in our marketplace? We are still bumping along the bottom, BUT, in good locations and more affordable price bands, we are beginning to see slight price increases. Analysis of the most recent Price Shiller index backs up this contention. So, maybe a little bit of light? La’Cee Looks at Consumer Confidence
This chart from the National Association of Home Builders tells us what we are already experiencing in the field, that consumer confidence is slowly but surely starting to increase. If we can get to a more steady economy, a handle on the deficit, and recognizable progress on the job front, we believe that growing consumer confidence, along with pent up demand, will be strongly felt. Am I right? Your thoughts?
