This graph, from the National Association of Realtors, reminds us that more than one-third (38%) of recent buyers are between 25 – 34 years old. This vibrant group finishes college, gets married later and starts having their family in the late 20’s or 30’s. It’s important that we, as advertisers, know how to effectively communicate with them. They do not like hype, for example, do not like be ‘commanded,’ and want all the facts and the whole truth. Many, if not most, of our traditional real estate advertising messages need to change to appeal to this vital segment.
