Paul on Shortage of Lots
The folks from New Home Trends do an excellent job tracking plat inventory. This graph is for Snohomish County only, from 2005 through the first quarter of 2011. Note that there were zero new units applied for in the first quarter of this year, and the blue trend line (new units brought to market) and the brownish trend line (net new unit sales) are both trending the wrong way.
